Global Head of Transfer Pricing

About you

In addition, you have;

  • Proven in-house tax experience within a supply chain-driven organization
  • Extensive technical Tax experience (including Direct Tax and Indirect Tax)
  • Experience in leading international projects across multiple continents
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese or German will be considered an asset
  • Experience in ERP system implementation from a tax perspective will be considered an asset

About the job

As our Head of Transfer Pricing you will be responsible for the Transfer Pricing Group affairs and ensuring that RHI Magnesita is and up-to-date with (new) transfer pricing regulations. You are responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring the company transfer pricing policy and Transfer Pricing processes. In this role you will work closely together with the RHI Magnesita Tax team as well as other corporate functions and businesses by providing transfer pricing advice on regional or global aspects. This includes initiatives related to among others Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Treasury, R&D, Marketing and Sales. In this role your task is to ensure that the company is compliant with transfer pricing rules by supervising and communicating the latest developments. Your will proactively initiate required follow-up actions in conjunction with other stakeholders (e.g., changes concerning transfer pricing as a result of the BEPS project).

Your tasks will include:

  • Support tax audits
  • Manage the company's transfer pricing policy and maintain the required transfer pricing documentation
  • Evaluate the potential impact of tax legislation on the company and recommend the proper course of action
  • Planning tax opportunities where appropriate
  • The business is currently using multiple ERP systems. You will be working closely with IT and local finance teams in different continents to implement a single ERP system
  • Contact with tax authorities, external advisors and stakeholders in the organization
